Capsule For The Future
What would you give the people of 2070?
The Project
Capsule For The Future explores the ways that climate activists think about and imagine the future by asking them what they would give the people of 2070.
Anyone based in the UK with an interest in climate action is welcome to submit and submissions could include anything you think the people of 2070 will find useful or interesting. This could be objects, resources, ideas, designs, creative writing or images.
The physical capsule will be donated to an organisation which is willing to hold onto it so it can be in public domain when 2070 comes. In the meantime, this online space will be available for anyone who may want to view the time capsule .
The 2070 Climate Futures Time Capsule is being assembled by Isabelle Introna at the Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology in Manchester as part of an ethnographic research project.
